multiple regression and correlation analysis results [1] we analyzed the association between the functional state of various systems and the endogenous concentration of chemical elements and major environmental pollutants, the relation between them and the type of adaptive response to the current environmental conditions. Results suggest that even relatively low concentrations of toxic elements (lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic, etc) at background exposure in the urban and industrial polluted environment of the Crimean peninsula show some significant effects on the functional state of the examined systems. And organism’s adaptation to the environment increases in case of highly modified environment, especially if a complex action of factors is considered, for example, analyzing not the impact of the single element, but the effects of the elements’ imbalance altogether. Such xenobiotics as persistent organic compounds (pesticides) produce stronger effects on functions of the organism. Each of the examined systems can be considered as the potential target for the pollutants, but their sensitivity significantly varies. Effects of heavy metals on the CVS functional state are hidden and could be revealed only during functional tests indicating partial or compensated adaptation. While electrophysiological characteristics appeared to be the most sensitive to changes in the internal content of pollutants, suggesting that the evaluation of early adverse effects of anthropogenic influence should be assessed first based on functional state of the CNS due to its importance in the adaptation of the organism in a relatively rapid anthropogenic modification of the environment. В процессе исследований значительно расширились представления о функционировании системы иммунитета и появились сообщения, что, в периферической крови и органах иммунной системы выявляется популяция дубль-позитивных (D
