ПРЕДИСЛОВИЕ

Учебное пособие «Ключи для домашнего чтения по книге 
Р. Даля “Матильда”» предназначено прежде всего для студентов, обучающихся по направлению подготовки «Зарубежное 
регионоведение». Данное пособие, разработанное И.Г. Беляковой, А.А. Молнар, Ж.В. Кургузенковой и Л.В. Кривошлыковой, 
написано в соответствии со всеми требованиями ФГОС ВПО к 
результатам освоения основных образовательных программ по 
этому направлению подготовки. Данное учебное пособие может 
быть также использовано для проведения занятий по дисциплине «Иностранный язык (английский)» со студентами, обучающимися по широкому спектру гуманитарных специальностей 
(социология, педагогика, связи с общественностью, лингвистика, психология).
Пособие состоит из 21 урока, которые включают ключи к 
первым 5 лексическим упражнениям, изданным ранее этим же 
коллективом авторов к разработке «Домашнее чтение по книге 
Р. Даля “Матильда”» / “Homereading ‘Matilda’ by R. Dahl”.
Каждый урок представлен ключами к следующим упражнениям: 1) поиск соответствия между термином и его определением; 2) поиск английских эквивалентов в тексте с целью выделения основного вокабуляра прочитанной главы; 3) поиск 
синонимов; 4) работа с основным вокабуляром путем заполнения пропусков нужной лексической единицей; 5) построение 
правильных предложений из предложенного набора слов.
Таким образом, учитывая тот факт, что одной из важнейших 
проблем методики преподавания иностранного языка является 
проблема оптимизации коммуникативного процесса, считаем, 
что данное пособие способствует работе с оригинальным текстом, облегчая студентам и преподавателям поиск лексических 
соответствий, высвобождая тем самым время на формирование 
коммуникативной компетенции учащихся.
