     Я сейчас вижу большое будущее творческого таланта Людмилы Сметанко. Она прекрасно передает цвет и настроение, играя на полутонах. Ее работы композиционно выверены и тонально выдержаны. Людмила Сметанко без сомнения обладает безупречным вкусом. Ее зоркий авторский взгляд убирает из кадра все лишнее. В ее фотографиях ярко чувствуется художественное начало.

     Интересный взгляд человека 21 века на родину А.П. Чехова. Видно, что это поэтический взгляд романтической натуры. Людмиле Сметанко дороги реликвии, близкие сердцу памятные места, связанные с жизнью великого земляка. Искренность в отношении сказывается и в авторских текстах. Она не идеализирует, но подмечает красоту состояний природы и города. Людмила Сметанко ловит блеск фонарей, отраженный в замерзшей корочке льда, и восторг при возможности почувствовать себя Чеховым хоть на мгновение присев за его парту, и лучи света, пробивающиеся сквозь пожелтевшую листву парка, и тусклое свечение лампады в Домике Чеховых. Альбом передает флюиды чеховского Таганрога.

     Что и говорить, за полтора столетия со дня рождения А.П. Чехова, многое изменилось и городской рельеф, и Таганрог стали иными, многое невозвратно ушло... Но только не чеховское - оно остается, оно осеняет новое, и это составляет то духовное, что находит и сберегает Людмила Сметанко. Для ее снимков характерны акварельная нежность и прозрачность, не теряющие четкости и точности. И детали у нее при всей их зримости и значимости не заслоняют целого, а шире отворяют его.

     Альбом создает очень приятное лирическое впечатление о городе, который подарил миру А.П. Чехова. Можно подолгу вглядываться во многие фотографии Людмилы Сметанко. Они позволяют прочувствовать тонкую романтику произведений гениального писателя. Просмотрев коллекцию фотоальбома понимаешь, чем дышал Антон Павлович, улавливаешь те настроения, которые он черпал в природе Таганрога и пригородов, на берегу морской глади. Сильная колористика Юга выигрышно подчеркивается зимними панорамами. При съемки соблюдены каноны городского, паркового пейзажа, в интересном ракурсе даны улицы... Очень красивая книга!

     Eine interessante Ansicht des Menschen des 21. Jahrhunderts Ober die Heimat von A. P. Tschechow. Es ist klar, dass es die poetische Ansicht der romantischen Natur ist. Wichtig fur Ljudmila Smetanko sind die Reliquien, die dem Herzen nahenden Gedenkstatten, die mit dem Leben des groBen Landsmannes verbunden sind. Die Aufrichtigkeit in der Beziehung zeigt sich auch in den Verfasser-Texten. Sie idealisiert nicht, aber bemerkt die Schonheit der Zustande der Natur und der Stadt. Ljudmila Smetanko fangt vieles auf: den Schein der Laternen, der in der gefrorenen Eiskruste widergespiegelt ist, die Begeisterung bei der Moglichkeit, sich fOr einen Augenblick Tschechow zu fOhlen an seiner Schulbank sitzend, durch das vergilbte Laub des Parks durchschimmernde Lichtstrahlen, und das triibe Leuchten der Ollampe im Tschechow-Haus. Der Bildband wiedergibt die Einwirkung der Heimatstadt von Tschechow.

     Das anderthalb Jahrhundert seit dem Geburtstag von A. P. Tschechow ist vorbei und vieles hat sich verandert, die stadtische Gelandeform und die Stadtselbstsie sind andersgeworden, vieles istnichtruckerstattbar weggegangen...
Aber alles, was Tschechow betrifft bleibt fur ewig - es fallt ein, und es bildet Geistiges, was Ljudmila Smetanko findet und bewahrt. Fur ihre Aufnahmen sind die Wasserfarbefeinheit und die Durchsichtigkeit kennzeichnend, die ihre Klarheit und Genauigkeit nicht verlieren. Und die Details in Fotos von Ljudmila Wladimirowna verdrangen bei ihren Bedeutsamkeit und Sichtbarkeit das Gesamte nicht, sie offnen breiteres.

     Das Album macht einen sehrangenehmen lyrischen Eindruck Ober die Stadt, die der Welt A. P. Tschechow geschenkt hat. Man kann sich sehr lange viele Fotos von Ljudmila Smetanko ansehen. Sie lassen die feine Romantik von Werken des genialen Schriftstellers fiihlen. Nach der Betrachtung des Bildbandes versteht man, was atmete Anton Pawlowitsch, man beginnt jene Stimmungen aufzufangen, die er in der Natur Taganrogs und der Vororte, am Ufer des Meeresspiegel schopfte. Die starke Koloristik des Siidens wird vorteilhaft von den Winterpanoramen betont. Bei derAufnahme sind die Kanons der stadtischen Parklandschaft beachtet, in der interessanten Verkurzung sind die StraBen dargestellt... Das ist sehrschone Buch!

   I see a promising future of Lyudmila Smetanko's talent. She brilliantly conveys the colour and mood, playing with under tints. Her works have the right composition and tone consistency. Undoubtedly, Lyudmila Smetanko is a person of perfect taste. Having a sharp eye she removes from the shot everything unnecessary. You can easily feel an artistic basis in her photos.

   It is a very interesting view of the 21 st century person on Chekhov's motherland. We can notice that it is a poetic view of a romantic person.
Lyudmila Smetanko values relics, dearest memorable places associated with the life of her famous fellow-townsman. Her sincere attitude is revealed in her texts. She doesn't idealize, but notices the beauty of nature and urban landscapes. Lyudmila Smetanko catches the light of lanterns, reflected in a frozen ice crust, and the delight you experience when you can feel yourself Chekhov for a while having sat at his desk, and the rays of light fighting their way through the yellow leaves of the park, and a dim light of an icon lamp in Chekhov's House. The album conveys vibes of Chekhov's Taganrog.

  One has to admit that during a century and a half since the day of Chekhov's birth lots of things have changed, both the city relief and Taganrog itself became different, much disappeared forever. But not the Chekhov's -it remains, it overshadows the new, and this creates the spirituality that Lyudmila Smetanko finds and saves. Her photos are characterized by watercolour tenderness and transparency which do not lose their clearness and exactness. As for the details, being visible and significant they do not hide the whole, but rather widen it.

  The album produces a very pleasant romantic impression of the city which presented Chekhov to the whole world. You can peer at lots of photos by Lyudmila Smetanko for hours. They let you feel a subtle romance of the literary works by the great writer. After looking through the album collection you can understand what was there in Chekhov's mind and soul, you catch the spirit which he derived from the nature of Taganrog and its suburbs, on the shore of the smooth sea. Bright colours of the south are emphasized by winter panoramas. While taking pictures, the photographer followed the canons of creating urban and park landscape, the streets are shown from a very interesting angle... It's a very beautiful book!
